Join us for our 2nd Annual Battle of the Pigs BBQ and Car Show and enjoy scrumptious food and live entertainment at the Appalachian Fair Grounds in Gray, Tennessee May 28th & 29th 2010.
While you are in the Tri-Cities for our Cook-Off and Car Show, take time to enjoy historic sites, unique shops and the pleasant atmosphere that the Tri-Cities has to offer.
Sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society, this competition will have teams from all over the Southeast US competing for $20,000. Along with the BBQ, we will have a car show that will feature some real classics. We will also have a kid’s zone with inflatables, crafters, BBQ food vendors and other food vendors.

Friday Evening
“Frontiers” – a tribute to the rock band Journey – will perform on the main stage Friday May 28th at 8:00pm. They are considered the world’s premier tribute to the 80’s rock pioneers, selling out clubs and theatres across the country since 2002. The opening artist will be Dishwater Blonde from Knoxville, TN… one of the region’s most popular bands.
Saturday Evening
A fan favorite from 2009 will be the opening artist on Saturday May 29th at 5:45pm. “Grits from Dumplin Valley” is another East Tennessee based band that performs original and cover material. The headline artist is Joe Nichols who currently has a #1 country hit “Gimme That Girl”. Joe is no stranger to the country music scene. He has had three #1 and seven Top 10 hits such as “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” and “If Nobody Believed In You”. He takes the stage at 8:00pm.
